TAUNGGYI HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL
The popular festival holds by Pa-O people of Shan State, Myanmar. It celebrates by hot air balloons competition of days & nights. Day balloons are in the shape of Pagodas or Animals. Night balloons are in the form of multi-colored lantern paper with different designs. There can see amazing fireworks and firecrackers from hot air balloon. It holds about a week.
Day 1
YANGON AIRRIVAL
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Have a Lunch. Then visit to Botataung Pagoda, to Bogyoke (Scott) Market (closed on Mondays), ChaukHtatKyi Pagoda is the fourth largest colossal reclining image. And Visit to Shwedagon Pagoda is the world famous golden Stupa. Dinner at Karaweik Palace Restaurant where can enjoy dinner with Myanmar Cultural show. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2
YANGON – HEHO – INLE
After breakfast at hotel, leave Yangon to Heho by domestic flight. Drive to Inle Lake– famous for their leg rolling style. Visit to PhaungdawOo Pagoda. Have a lunch. Then go to Inpawkhone Village – famous for silk weaving workshop, silver workshop & to Ngaphechaung Monastery. Have a dinner. Stay overnight at hotel in Inle Lake.
Day 3
INLE – TAUNGGYI HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL
After Breakfast at hotel, drive from Inle Lake to Taunggyi. Have a lunch. Enjoy Sightseeing at Taunggyi Hot Air Balloon Festival– amazing hot air balloon with full of light. Have a dinner & stay overnight at hotel in Taunngyi.
Day 4
TAUNGGYI HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL
After Breakfast at hotel, go shopping at Taunggyi Market, where you can buy Shan’s traditional foods and hand- made articles. Have a lunch. Then enjoy Hot Air Balloon Workshop-get new experience of how to make Hot Air Balloon & Taunggyi Hot Air Balloon Festival– enjoys festival performing day and night. Have a dinner & stay overnight at hotel in Taunngyi.
Day 5
TAUNGGYI – HEHO – YANGON
After breakfast at hotel, Drive from Taunggyi to Heho; leave Heho to Yangon by domestic flight. Then visit to The Kaba Aye Pagoda (world peace pagoda), National museum (closed on Mondays) – main museum of Myanmar culture and civilization of our people. Have a lunch. Go to China Town where can see the many vendors on the platform & can buy the variety of Myanmar. Have a dinner. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 6
YANGON DEPARTURE
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure.
