ECO ADVENTURE OF CAMBODIA

Your point of arrival for any Cambodia holiday is likely to be either Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, in both instances you will be well advised to spend few nights in either city. Siem Reap is gateway to the Angkor Temples and a great base for exploring the world class temple site; Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, is a lively city with enough to keep most travellers well occupied for at least a day or two. For a taste of Cambodian city life, soak up the singular atmosphere of capital city Phnom Penh, while French-Colonial Battambang offers charm, great architecture and crowd-free Angkor-era temples.

Day 1
Phnom Penh arrival (D)

Our guide and coach will wait and pick up at Phnom Penh International Airport then check in hotel. After, transfer to visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Russian Market. Late afternoon we will enjoy sunset on the Mekong River by Kanika Cruise included dinner on river bank. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2
Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by road to Kampong Cham province via national road No. 7 which take 2h30mn. Afternoon, visit Wat Nokor Bachey and Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey. After, visit the colonial architecture of Cambodia’s third city. Lastly, visit Chup Rubber Plantation. Overnight in Kampong Cham.

Day 3
Kampong Cham – Mondul Kiri (B)

Breakfast and start leaving Kampong Cham by going straight to Mondul Kiri – the province which full of natural beauty landscape, thicky forest mountain and the lush green rolling hills along the national road no. 7 and 76 (around 220km). We arrive Sen Monorom – the Provincial town of Mondul Kiri around noon 1-2pm. Check-in at the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Sen Monorom.

Day 4
Mondul Kiri – Bou Sra – Minority Village & Elephant Trekking (B)

After breakfast, leaving town to Bou Sra Waterfall on the distance 38km. Overthere, you can relax and swim with a big and nice waterfall. On the way back, we visit coffee and other orchids plantations. After lunch, back to the city and visit Phnong tribal village. After, drive to visit the Sea Forest site where we can see the beautiful landscape of tree top from the hill. Meanwhile, we can enjoy sunset there as well. Overnight in Sen Monorom.

Day 5
Mondul Kiri – Rattanak Kiri (B)

Breakfast and drive back to Rattanak Kiri – another beautiful nature province of north-east side of Cambodia. To reach there, we have to travel by overland around 420km via national road no. 76, 7 and 78 by across Kratie and Stung Treng provinces. We arrive there around 3-4pm. The rest of time, we will visit the Yeak Laom Lake – the former volcanic eruption with 50m depth where we can relax, swim and enjoy a panoramic view. Overnight in Banlung – the provincial town of Rattanak Kiri.

Day 6
Rattanak Kiri – Andoung Meas – Hill Tribe Villages (B)

After breakfast, continue road trip to Andoung Meas district. On the way, we visit Charai hill tribe villages. Arrival there at noon time. Take traditional boat trip along Sesan River to visit Charai ethnic graves in the forest. Picnic lunch will be served. On water back, we visit another Tumpoun hill tribe village. Arrival pier and drive back to the town and visit gem-mining zone on the way. Closs to town, visit Phnom Village to see hill tribe people weaving handicraft that is a good chance for you to find any souvenir on spot. Overnight in Banlung.

Day 7
Rattanak Kiri – Kratie (B)

Morning after breakfast, we drive back to Kratie Province – Home of Irrawaddy Dolphin. To reach Kratie town, we have to travel by road around 250km. After check-in and freshen-up, we depart the hotel and visit to (100-column pagoda), the pagoda which was built since Chenla era in the city named Sampopura. Return to visit the rare Irrawaddy Dolphin – the world endanger fresh water mammal at Kampi, and stay till evening to enjoy sunset there. Overnight in Kratie.

Day 8
Kratie – Kampong Thom (B)

After breakfast, continue by road to Kampong Thom Province around 270km to reach. On the way, visit Kuhak Nokor temple. Arrival provincial town at afternoon time. Check in at hotel. After, continue exploring Sambo Prey Kuk Complex, the ancient capital of Chenla which was built in 7th century. Overnight in Kampong Thom.

Day 9
Kampong Thom – Siem Reap – Angkor Wat (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap Province which take time about 2:30 hours more. On the way, visit the ancient bridge – Kampong Kdei. Continue road to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Afternoon, start exploring the World Wonder ‘Angkor Wat temple” and enjoy sunset view from a top of Bakheng Hill. Back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 10
Siem Reap – Banteay Srey – Angkor Thom (B)

Breakfast and continue visit Banteay Srei temple which is 38km from town. Then, back to visit Banteay Samre temple. Afternoon, continue to visit the famous old palace, Angkor Thom by starting from South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Phimean Akas. Back to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 11
Siem Reap – Petit Circuit – Grand Circuit (B)

After breakfast, transfer to visit Petit Circuit inclusive of Thommanon, Chau Say Teveda, Ta Keo, Ta Promh, Banteay Kdei and Sras Srang. Afternoon, transfer to visit Grand Circuit, Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Pre Rup, Ta Som, and East Mebon, then back to hotel. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 12
Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Battambang (B)

Morning after breakfast, you will transfer to enjoy with traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake for 1hour by visit the daily life of floating villagers. On the way back, we enjoy with oxen-cart riding at Aranh Village. Back to Chantie Ecole-Artisan D’Angkor and shopping at Old Market. After that, by overland to Battambang which take time around 3hrs. Upon arrival at evening, check-in at hotel. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 13
Battambang – Phnom Banan – Wat Ek Phnom (B)

After breakfast, make excursion to the mountaintop and visit this 11thth century). On the way, we stop and visit the Prahoc market (prahoc is the Cambodian fermented fish paste). Overnight in Battambang. century Angkorian temple of Phnom Banon. Return to the town and visit the Provincial Museum and enjoy a guided walking tour of the town center. Afternoon, continue driving along the Sangke River through some beautiful countryside to reach Wat Slaket pagoda, the residence of the Buddhist Patriarch. After, visit Wat Ek Phnom temple (11th century). On the way, we stop and visit the Prahoc market (prahoc is the Cambodian fermented fish paste). Overnight in Battambang.

Day 14
Battambang – Phnom Penh (B)

After breakfast you will transfer back to Phnom Penh via national road no. 5 by passing 3 provinces such as Pusat, Kampong Chhnang and Kandal that you will arrange to have a short visit in each province. Arrival Pursat, followed by a city orientation tour to see some interesting colonial architecture and a floating village. Upon arrival Kampong Chhnang, visit Pottery Village. Lastly, arrival Kandal Province, we visit the abandoned royal city of Oudong (early 17th century) and visit the temples and stupas that cover the hills. Then, drive toward to Phnom Penh. Arrival and check in hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 15
Phnom Penh – Departure (B)

After breakfast, free at own leisure till transfer time to the airport for departure flight. End of service.
