Phnom Penh-Kampong Chnang-Pursat-Battambang (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Headed to Battambang province by national road #5, en route stop at Kampong Chnang (Clay Pot Port) province is an easygoing river town saturated with colonial architecture and harbor zone with floating villages. Surrounded by picturesque Cambodian country side and only 91km from Phnom Penh, The area is famed for its skilled potters, some of whom are itinerant and can be seen hawking their wares from an ox-cart throughout Cambodia. And short stop and Pursat province where the precious marble stone originate from the cardamoms, then they are brought here for carving in variety artifact such as Buddha status, animals…etc. Arrive Battambang in the afternoon. Check in hotel, and start visiting to the provincial museum where many artworks were collected from the ancient temples in Battambang are displayed, continue to the fish paste market (if you don’t mind with the smell) and leisure in the evening that you can walk through the town of Battambang to discover its beautiful colonial architecture. Battambang-Siem Reap (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Sangka river for boarding the boat to Siem Reap by passing the fishermen villages and Bird sanctuary (from July to January) the journey takes about 6 to 7 hours, but sometimes it takes longer (depend on the water level water in the Tonle Sap lake). On arrival in Siem Reap in the late afternoon, transfer to hotel. Rest of day is free. Dinner at local restaurant.

Siem Reap, Angkor (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
