Day 1
Siem Reap – Arrival (D)

Welcome and take you to your hotel to freshen up and start exploring the capital. You’re free to bargain at the local market with its silks, silver, crafts, and a large variety of gift items before we head for dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy an Apsara dance show.

Day 2

Siem Reap – Angkor Toures (B, L, D)

Visit the southern gate of Angkor Thom, which was built in the 12th century with intricate carvings depicting scenes form Hindu mythology. Move on to the Bayon temple complex, with its enormous imposing faces. En-route, we’ll visit ancient Ta Prohm temple with trees growing out of the ruins against the jungle surroundings. Next stop Angkor Wat, an ancient temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that depicts the epitome of the high classical style of Khmer architecture and also its significance as a religious center. We conclude with a climb up Phnom Bakheng to view a beautiful sunset.

Day 3

Siem Reap – Banteay Srei (B, L, D)

This morning, we’ll travel north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei, comprising three central towers decorated with male and female divinities. The special charm of this temple lies in its remarkable state of preservation, small size and excellent decoration. On the way back to Siem Reap, we’ll stop at Les Artisans d’Angkor, a workshop to redevelop traditional Cambodian artisan skills after which we’ll visit Wat Bo and then shop at the Old Market.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

After breakfast transfer to Phnom Penh by private coach (Note: FIT 2-5pax, use public bus). Marvel at the oldest structure, Wat Phnom from the founding days of the city; the Royal Palace with the Silver Pagoda, which dates to the mid-19th century, and the Independence Monument, constructed more recently in 1958.

Day 5

Phnom Penh – Toul Sleng (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we’ll visit to the Killing Fields, one of the sites in Cambodia where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime and then back to the town to visit Toul Sleng, a former prison used during the Khmer Rouge regime and now a memorial to the dark period. Thereafter, you’re free to bargain at the Toul Tom Poung Market also known as Russian Market with its silks, silver, crafts, and a large variety of gift items.

Day 6

Phnom Penh – Departure (B)

Your time is free for any last-minute sightseeing or shopping before we take you to the airport.
