And what’s different with bike to ANGKOR Temples.
The Angkor Temple cycling is organized to escape the crowds, main road and busy road. We ride by back-road, off-road, and trails into forests and villages to discover the ancient historic constructions. It’s truly different feeling and what
you get is experiences, excited and funs. The appearance of the temple on cycling track is Bayon, Tanei, Taphrom and Angkor Wat.
Day 1
ANGKOR TEMPLE CYCLING
Start Point at Old Booth Ticket
You’re welcome and transferred from the hotel to old booth ticket where the starting point is. We start the tour at 7:30am. So, you should ready at 7:00am at your hotel lobby.
Riding to the first visit is the Angkor Wat, that’s the unique and amazing temple in the world. We then cycle on the main road a few kilometers to south-gate of Angkor Thom and ride the on the rampart to see quiet gate at west side. Then continuous riding to visit the intersected temple of Angkor Thom is Bayon. Then we have a breaking and enjoy the lunch by riding to the local restaurant.
After lunch we visit Tha Prom, known commonly as the jungle temple, with tree roots attempting to reclaim the ruins. From here we ride a red dirt road and then some great small tracks back to town. You can expect to return to town around 4:30 pm.
What shouldn’t forget?
Bring camera, sunglasses, sunscreen and comfortable cycling clothes.
Note for warring dress: Appropriate dress (knees and shoulders fully covered) is compulsory for entry into certain sections of Angkor Wat, and should also be observed throughout all temple areas for reasons of cultural sensitivity.)
